Extra-Luminal Tracheal Chondrosarcoma: A Case Report
Abstract
Tracheal neoplasms are rare, accounting for a very small proportion of respiratory tract malignancies. Tracheal chondrosarcoma is an exceptionally uncommon tumor, with fewer than 40 cases reported in the literature. We present a case of an incidentally detected, purely extraluminal tracheal chondrosarcoma managed with surgical resection. A review of the literature was undertaken to evaluate clinical presentation and management strategies.
