Ecological Psychology and Human Behavior
Journal Introduction
Ecological Psychology and Human Behavior is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that explores the dynamic interactions between individuals and their physical, social, and cultural environments. Grounded in ecological and systems-based perspectives, the journal provides a platform for interdisciplinary research that examines perception, cognition, action, and behavior as situated, embodied, and environmentally embedded phenomena. The journal welcomes theoretical and empirical contributions that deepen our understanding of how humans perceive affordances, adapt to complex environments, and engage in meaningful action within real-world contexts. We encourage submissions that connect ecological psychology with adjacent disciplines such as cognitive science, neuroscience, environmental psychology, education, human factors, design, anthropology, and behavioral sciences.
