Biosynthetic Method and Characterization of Hydrozincite Nanoparticles Using Rubus Ellipticus Smith
Abstract
Biosynthetic method is also known as Green synthesis method. Green synthesis of nano particles can be synthesized using any part of the plant for the bioreduction of metal ions into their elemental form. Hydrozincite nano particles were synthesized using the wild berry fruit. The fruit has got so many health benefits. The synthesized nano particles were characterized by X-Ray diffraction(XRD), Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectroscopy(FT-IR), UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy(UV), Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-Ray Diffraction(EDX). The average particle size was found to be 27.608 nm using XRD analysis. The FT-IR analysis reveals the functional groups present in the prepared sample. From UV the absorption peak was noticed at 313.019 nm (blue shift) which confirms the synthesized particle was in nano range. The surface morphology of the synthesized particles was noticied as cotton bed structure from the SEM analysis. The chemical compounds in the synthesized nano particles were analysed using EDX analysis. A single step decomposition of Hydrozincite to Zinc oxide was observed in TGA analysis. Synthesized nanoparticle was enhanced to study the anti-microbial activity.
